Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
CineMap ("we", "us") is the route-flyover tool at cinemap.studio and the CineMap desktop app. This policy explains, in plain language, what data we handle and why.
What we collect
- Account data. If you create an account: your email address and authentication data, stored with our auth provider (Supabase).
- Payment data. Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Projects you save. Saved routes/projects (route coordinates, styling, camera settings) are stored in your account so you can access them across devices. Unsaved work lives only in your browser's local storage.
- Usage analytics. Basic, aggregated page analytics (page views, country, device type) to understand how the site is used.
Your routes
Route files you import are processed in your browser (or locally on your Mac in the desktop app). Map tiles and road-snapping are served by Mapbox, which receives the map locations your session requests — see the Mapbox privacy policy. We do not sell your data, and we do not share your routes with anyone.
Videos you export
Exports are rendered on your device and saved directly to it. We never receive your exported videos.
Third parties we rely on
- Mapbox — map rendering, geocoding, directions
- Supabase — accounts and saved projects
- Stripe — payments
- Vercel — hosting and analytics
Deleting your data
Email us and we'll delete your account and saved projects: luketornare@gmail.com.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll note it here with a new date.
