Terms of Service

By using CineMap (the web app at cinemap.studio and the CineMap desktop app), you agree to these terms.

The service

CineMap turns GPS routes into animated 3D map videos. The free tier includes watermarked export up to 1080p. CineMap Pro ($9/month) unlocks all map styles, the Waypoint camera, 4K export, watermark-free output, and the Mac desktop app.

Who can use CineMap

You must be at least 13 years old to create a CineMap account.

Subscriptions

• Pro costs $9 a month and renews automatically every month, charged through Stripe to the payment method you choose, until you cancel.
• Stripe's checkout page shows these renewal terms next to the Subscribe button and asks you to agree to them before you pay.
• Cancel anytime online: in CineMap, open Account → Manage subscription (Stripe's billing page) and cancel there. You keep Pro until the end of the month you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• If the price changes, we'll email you at least 7 days before the change, with how to cancel.

Your content

Your routes and exported videos are yours. You retain all rights to the videos you create with CineMap and may use them commercially. You're responsible for having the right to use any route data you import and any images you add (for example custom markers).

Copyright complaints

If you believe something stored in CineMap infringes your copyright, email luketornare@gmail.com with:

• your name, address, phone number and email, and your physical or electronic signature;
• the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
• the material you say infringes it, and where it is in CineMap;
• a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by the owner, its agent or the law;
• a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you own the copyright or are authorized to act for the owner.

We remove material that infringes, and we close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe.

Map data

Maps, imagery and routing are provided by Mapbox and subject to Mapbox's terms. Map data attribution must remain visible where required.

Fair use

Don't abuse the service — no attempts to circumvent tier limits, resell access, reverse-engineer the apps, or use the service in ways that break the law or degrade it for others. We may suspend accounts that do.

Warranty & liability

CineMap is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
